All that glitters is sour

Sorry for maybe causing worries: I am not in Japan now, nothing to do with the earthquake and the following catastrophe in my case though:
Truth is my health is still not better and I am in the hospital for more than a month.
Thankfully all my friends are fine too- at least till now.

Disregarding that this is mainly a fashion blog some of the reactions to the nuclear melt down makes we want to make a statement, or more precise, make me want to rant.
That my Japanese friends who don´t get well informed by the Japanese media and often have no possibility to get out of Tokyo and the surrounding areas I can accept. I let them all know that they would be always welcome here with me if the need to...
BUT reading about a few foreign girls who question the dangers of the meltdown make me not only angry, they disgust me.
Saying it may cause cancer but this and that can also cause cancer so whatever shows only pure ignorance and dumbness.
Being a person who is battling with cancer for years, having over 30 operations, being tormented by incredible pain and sadness (also for my dear ones) this attitude feels like a slap in the face.
My cancer very well was maybe triggered by Chernobyl. I couldn't flee from that as a baby but as an adult I would have run as far as I could knowing what cancer can mean.
And to see girls risking their health because they have a boyfriend waiting,blabla....
See, not one guy in the world is worth risking your health. Maybe 10-20 perfect guys would but certainly not only one. (Also not only Japan has great men.)

Apart of that, everyone in Japan (including my ex-boyfriends) are telling me how glad they are that I am at a safe place because they would worry about me.
That is what true care and love look likes: Wanting someone you like safe rather than close to you.

Rant aside, in my last post I said I´ll post the other clothes I got from the outlet store too and here it is, shown in some lonely and sad one person purikura XD:




So, the high-waist Moussy skirt with gold buttons is what Mr.T got me from Odaiba´s outlet store.
Again it´s little bit big on me so I wear it usually with a belt.

Hair Modelling 101 / Purikura

This week I had the chance to do nice some small-scale modelling again for a a line of hair salons in the Shibuya area. A Hip Hop event of friends was the day before so I did not get much sleep and felt generally rather sick which shows in my face but apart of that it was a sweet working day.

On my way to the salon I ran straight into a big group photo shoot for the magazine Men`s Egg, THE publication for Gyaru-o, which was already the 2nd time in 2 weeks. Male models pave, or rather stand annoyingly in my way.

Getting around the shooting I reached the salon which had a relaxed Semi-European, antique charm to it. Lots of white and decorated mirrors mixed with Biedermeier furniture.

I was allowed to choose how I wanted my hair cut and styled, which also means there is no interesting change at all to it. After that I was meeting up with my friend Megu for dinner and more. We also took some Purikura (the pictures on top) where you can see more of the outfit and hair.

Skirt is from Shibuya 109 brand Delyle, which concept is to be basically a sluttier, cheaper version of Chanel. Think lots of black, pink and white, chain bags, and prints using images like the Chanel No 5 flacon.

The shirt is from English store Asos, is one-shouldered one one side and opens up on the other side- a nice feature when temperatures are around 35 degrees.

One-shoulder

I lately have been in a maniac state for everything off- and one-shoulder, partially because It has a sophisticated sexiness to it, to a bigger part though because I can cover scars with it without looking like a nun. Luckily it is one of the proclaimed summer/autumn trends in Japan so lately I see it in stores more often.

Nevertheless If you see cute shirts, dresses, salopettes,bikinis ... that cover the right shoulder, please always let me know!

On my quest I even did something I do not normally do- I first discovered something in a magazine (in this case Popsister) and then bought it. Normally it is the other way around.

Since I had plans to go with Ladyboy to Disney Sea I was searching for some Salopette/Rompers/whatever you want to call it that is both light, comfortable and covers everything properly even when you go on a ride.

Minir Dees, a shop that if my memory is halfway correct, exists in 109 since winter time, had what I wanted and that for only 4095 Yen. The price will go apparently up again next month when the summer sale ends.
It combines my beloved girly girl essentials of floral pattern, lace and ruffles too. The only minus point is that only one-size is offered that is actually too big for me. It is still wearable but producing at least the standard 109 sizes of S and M would have been nice.
